Dave Gibbons [ dave.gibbons@newsong.net ]
Dave is the CSE (chief social entrepreneur) of NewSong. He’s a crazy guy that loves to eat, travel, and read. He actually helped to start this whole NewSong thing. He has a clan of wild barbarians known as his family named Becca, Leigh, Karis, Luke and Megan. Watch out you may be able to beat one of them but you can’t beat them all!

Jimmy Lee [ jimmy.lee@newsong.net ]
Originally from Chicago, Jimmy is the founder of Mercy Walk, NewSong’s recovery ministry. Jimmy is married to Jessica and the two have a son called Jordan.  Apart from ministry, Jimmy loves riding his motorcycle and maintaining a high-cholesterol diet…because life is too short not to enjoy!
Daniel Kim [ daniel.kim@newsong.net ]
Daniel (aka DK) is excited to join the Newsong Bangkok team after a 2-year stint as the college intern on the Irvine campus.  Recently married to the love of his life, Sadie, Daniel hopes to grow old with her while affecting the world through the medium of art and music.
Abe Park [ abe.park@newsong.net ]
Goofy, spontaneous, outrageous, random, enthusiastic, and weird are phrases
that describe Abe perfectly. He loves Table Tennis, Movies, and
scrumtrulescent Food. Abe loves meeting new people, hanging out with
friends, and laughing until it hurts. If you know a good restaurant, take
Abe and feed him, he'll be your new friend.

Dave Brubaker [ dave.brubaker@newsong.net ]
If John 1:46 were written today, it might read: “Sacramento? Can anything good come from there?” Well, Dave did! After five years of leading high school ministry at Bayside Church, he and his wife Jill and two-year old daughter Kaylee are excited to be joining the Bangkok team. Dave likes to travel and listen to music (and uses parentheses well). Sometimes when Sesame Street is on he continues watching it long after Kaylee has left the room.

About NewSong

NewSong is one church that meets in four different locations! Los Angeles, Irvine and Fullerton in the U.S., and our newest multi-site Bangkok in Thailand! Though we may be separated many miles apart, NewSong shares the common ground in that we believe, regardless of where we live, we are all misfits called to embrace the third culture.

NewSong is far from a perfect church. Our common ground is our weakness. Yet, in spite of our weaknesses we've discovered the liberating favor of Jesus who says His grace is made perfect in our weakness.

So what is NewSong like? We're serious about embracing this ideal of reconciliation as it deals with God and humankind. We're also passionate about addressing the local and global concerns of justice, advocacy and the poor. We feel it is our responsibility to help lead a renaissance of community transformation among the under resourced. Moreover, the arts and beauty are important to us. Diversity is not just about being politically correct. To us it's about reflecting the very heart of God.
