No Regrets, Living With a Hole in Your Ear
Soul Talk Series, Part 5
Speaker: Darryl Brumfield
Romans 1:1 Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God—
2 Timothy 4:6 For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (Apostle Paul)
Now that’s how you finish strong, that is how we all should want to exit the stage of life, but how can we?
Like Paul, to finish strong without regrets
We need a mission statement that is derived from the scriptures rather than the culture.
We must rejoice in our position,
Knowing that the whole in the ear is about …
God redeeming, removing, releasing.
Being compelled by love to choose the better way.
When we understand our position, it produces ...
Humilty of spirit.
A narrowed purposeful focus, broadened spiritual perspectives and an unquenchable desire to know God
Bottom Line:
If we want to have no regrets we can’t be our own man, Like Paul, we must follow Christ’s example.
We must loose our life in order to truly live
